Spokój/Stillness

„Stillness” to cicha scena o trzech obecnościach: dwóch ludziach i psie, który jak zawsze widzi więcej, niż się mówi. Para siedzi blisko siebie, ale ich spojrzenia nie spotykają się – są jak w zawieszeniu między tym, co już zostało powiedziane, a tym, na co wciąż brakuje odwagi.
Dominujące błękity i granaty wyciszają obraz, tworząc wrażenie zatrzymanego czasu. Kontrastujące z nimi pomarańczowe liście, owoce i organiczne kształty na kolanach kobiety i w tle przypominają o tym, że pod spokojną powierzchnią cały czas coś dojrzewa: emocje, decyzje, niewypowiedziane słowa. Pies, wpatrzony w swoich ludzi, staje się tu strażnikiem tej chwili – lojalnym świadkiem, który łączy ich milczącą więzią.
„Stillness” jest opowieścią o takim momencie, kiedy nic się nie dzieje… a jednak wewnętrznie dzieje się wszystko. O bliskości, która nie potrzebuje fajerwerków, tylko obecności, nawet jeśli jeszcze trochę nieporadnej.

“Stillness” is a quiet scene built around three presences: two people and a dog who, as always, seems to see more than anyone says out loud. The couple sits close to each other, yet their eyes don’t quite meet – they’re suspended between what has already been spoken and what still feels too fragile to name.
Deep blues and indigos create a calm, almost hushed atmosphere, as if time has slowed down for a moment. In contrast, the warm orange leaves, fruits and organic shapes on the woman’s lap and in the background hint at an inner ripening: emotions, decisions, unsaid sentences. The dog, gazing up at its humans, becomes the quiet guardian of this moment – a loyal witness holding them together in shared stillness.
“Stillness” is about that kind of moment when nothing seems to be happening… and yet internally everything is in motion. It’s a painting about closeness without fireworks, about the kind of intimacy that begins from simple presence, even if it’s still a little clumsy.
